042 : 013 Quest For The Hyper Trophy S6E3 (Pull)

Lucas started this session and then I took it over because I had an idea that I wanted to try (the D-Ball Bear Crawl Pull). Similar to the D-Ball Push but in reverse. It makes it so you can actually handle a heavier ball which influenced the movements we used with it. That is largely why the Deadlift became the center. I like the awkward grip and even today while typing this my forearms are lit up. This is a good mix of grunt work and hypertrophy. It is probably my favorite style of training at the moment which is why it keeps coming up. Hope you enjoy it.

Prefatigue

5 rounds for time or for load

6 cal Ski or Row

D-Ball Complex 5x of each:

-Deadlift

-Ground to shoulder

-Press

Go up in weight each round to find “heavy” or load it up front and hold on

10m D-Ball Bear Crawl Pull

20x Back Extensions

Finish

Banded Rope Pull till failure

Banded Eccentric oscillating Curl till failure
